shares going up by $1 to close at $35.50 on a volume of 405. The only other stock to go up was the Bank of Butterfield's, which gained 25 cents to close at $25, with a volume of 2,100.
Bank of Bermuda common stock fell by 25 cents to $46 on a volume of 848; its eight percent preference shares traded unchanged at $11.50 on a volume of 494; and the Bank's nine percent notes went for $107.50, again unchanged in value.
Also trading for unchanged values were the shares of Argus Insurance, which closed at $11.50, with a volume of 1,563, and Telco, which traded at $35.50, with a volume of 2,500.
The Exchange Index closed at 1,010.16 -- up by 3.94.
