(MRM), has notified shareholders that it will increase the dividend for the fourth quarter by 20 percent over the prior paid dividend.

The company said this week the fourth quarter dividend will be six cents per common share, up from five cents per common share paid for the third quarter.

The latest dividend will be payable November 20 to shareholders of record November 6.

MRM provides risk management services to clients in the US, Canada and Europe that seek alternatives to traditional commercial insurance for certain of their risk exposures, as well as financial services to offshore mutual funds and other companies.

LAW FIRM TO FORM SUBSIDIARY BUC Law firm to form subsidiary Law firm Mello, Hollis, Jones and Martin is in the process of forming a subsidiary to sponsor company listings on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The firm has published an incorporation notice for Quorum Sponsors Ltd. which is being set up to arrange and sponsor public and private issues for listing on the BSX.

The law firm's administrative subsidiaries are Quorum Bermuda Ltd. and Quorum International Ltd.

DISCOUNT FOR BUSINESS CLIENTS BUC Discount for business clients Cable & Wireless is giving its business customers a discount. Customers who spend up to $3,000 a month will get a seven percent discount. Those spending more than $3,000 will qualify for a nine percent discount.

The discounts will automatically be credited to customers' monthly bill. Cable & Wireless recently extended off-peak discount calling periods.

COURSES TO AIR ON IBC TELECAST ED BUC Courses to air on IBS telecast The Insurance Broadcast System will begin showing its educational programmes in Bermuda. Courses on property and liability principles, on ethics, and on insurance contracts will be shown on VSB television in preparation for examinations by the Aerican Institute for CPCU in Demcember and January.

"These classes will increase the insurance knowledge of those working in the insurance industry and those seeking to enter the industry,'' Peter Doyles of the Bermuda Insurance Institute said. "The classes will also be a useful supplement to the students attending our courses.'' The Insurance Broadcast System is a private satellite subscription television system based in Los Angeles. The shows are are broadcast free of charge for one hour starting at 1 p.m. Monday to Thursday and on Sundays for two hours starting at 8 a.m.

IPCRE EUROPE FORMED IN IRELAND BUC IPCRe Europe formed in Ireland Bermuda-based IPC Holdings, Ltd. has formed IPCRe Europe Ltd. in Ireland. The new company will be used to target reinsurance business in Europe.

IPC mainly provides property catastrophe reinsurance.
