Hurricane Wheat is a "fruit beer'' flavoured with raspberries flown in from California according to a press release.

"This gives the beer a great fresh fruit aroma and the flavour of the berries is refreshing without overpowering the true character of the wheat beer,'' Vice President Philip Mason stated.

The company plans to brew the beer every year near the start of hurricane season.

Triangle is launching the new beer this weekend at the Samuel L. Jackson Celebrity Golf Classic. Profits from concession sales will go to the Catalog for Giving in New York and Bermuda's Council Partners Charitable Trust.

Triangle also brews Spinnaker, Wilde Hogge, Full Moon and Hammerhead Stout.
