1,435.75, decliners led advancers three to one and the index settled down just below the record number.
At the week's close, the index was at 1,433.24, some 32.976 points higher than at the start, after 71,553 shares, valued at $1,373,559.75, changed hands.
Bank of Bermuda was the biggest gainer, sustaining a $1.50 increase in share price, closing the week at $30, up five percent for the week.
The biggest loser was Bermuda Container Line, which closed at $3.50, down 50 cents or 14.29 percent after 3,500 shares changed hands.
The most active issue was Bank of Butterfield, which closed unchanged for the week at 416, after 35,653 shares traded.
