& Co. Ltd. has been sold to employees Mr. John Tester and Mr. Allan Young, who have set up a new company called Data-Tech Ltd.

PW's chief executive, Mr. William Cox, said: "This is a win-win situation for PW's, Data-Tech and most importantly for the customer.

"Allan and John have been with PW's for nine and 10 years, respectively. In that time they have developed a name for PW's and for themselves in the retail technology market. However, it is not in PW's best interest to maintain a presence in an enterprise this diverse from our core business.

"We are quite confident that John and Allan will continue to build on their strong reputation. That is why we are taking a minority position in this venture and, of course, retaining their services.'' President Mr. Tester said: "Our association with PW's has been invaluable in creating a presence in this market and capturing exclusive agreements on the North American front. We are thrilled with the opportunity to be able to take this company and continue the growth pattern already established.'' Mr. Young is vice president and director of technical services.
