has been hired as the President of Renaissance US Holdings, which is the company's US holding company for its primary operations. Mr. Rickey was previously President of Wyndham Partners Consulting, Ltd., a firm offering consulting services to the insurance industry.

Renaissance is also purchasing Wyndham, which will continue to provide consulting services for personal lines insurance companies outside the Renaissance group.

The company also announced that W. Preston Hutchings, the Renaissance Re's Chief Investment Officer, has been promoted to Senior Vice President.

Mr. Hutchings joined Renaissance in 1998.
