Three Bermudians promoted
promotions of Patrick Tannock to senior vice president--professional lines; Mark Lima to senior vice president--tailored risk solutions, Stephen Outerbridge to vice president--professional lines and Jonathan Evans to assistant vice president-professional lines. Three of the executives promoted are Bermudian.
"They will play a pivotal role as we continue to establish ACE Bermuda as a world leader in specialty insurance and reinsurance,'' ACE Bermuda president and CEO Gary Schmalzriedt said. "These promotions reflect ACE Bermuda's commitment to providing risk solutions that are innovative and responsive to the needs of our customers and producers.'' Mr. Tannock, a Bermudian, has 18 years' experiences in the international insurance industry. He joined ACE in 1993 as an assistant vice president having come from Marsh Global Broking.
Mr. Lima, also a Bermudian, has more than 16 years of experience in the insurance industry, joining ACE in 1990 after spending five years with the Sedgwick Group in London.
Mr. Outerbridge, the third Bermudian, joined ACE in 1995 as underwriter in the D&O Division (now Professional Lines). He spent a year at ACE Global Markets as part of ACE's exchange programme. He also came to ACE from Marsh Global Broking.
Mr. Evans came to ACE in 1997 after four years with Syndicate 484 at Lloyd's of London. He is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds the Lloyd's Market Certificate.
