TV finance report
A story in yesterday's newspaper icorrectly identified Miss Jannell Ford as an announcer with Bermuda Broadcasting. Miss Ford's correct position is programme director.
The Bank of Bermuda is today launching a new thrice-weekly "International Business Report'' capsule on ZBM-TV Channel Nine.
The 90-second production will air during the evening news on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
It will feature up-to-the-minute details on international bond and money markets, exchange rates and closing prices from world stock markets.
Mr. Ed Tucker, the Bank's investment officer, will research and host the programme, with Mr. Kevin Grant, a senior investment administrator, acting as a back-up.
Mr. Christian Traber, the Bank's corporate communications manager, said: "As Bermuda's community bank, we continually develop initiatives designed to give our range of customers and Bermuda the financial information they need to make prudent and consumer decisions.'' He added: "The segment will be highly informative and visual. Graphics will support Mr. Tucker's report, which is sourced from information through our Tradeline Desk, the international brokerage unit of the Bank of Bermuda.''
