The Den-Marc was on its way from New Jersey to Puerto Rico with a crew of five on board when it received notification that one of the group had to evacuate the vessel for "compassionate reasons'', a Harbour Radio spokesman reported.

The vessel spent Wednesday night alongside Ordnance Island in St. George's and was due to return to the open seas later yesterday.
