In its place, the airline is introducing a new business class service on its international routes beginning in May, 1994.
The new international business class will be available on Air Canada's international routes from Canada where First Class is currently available.
The current executive class service will remain basically as it is on Air Canada's North American routes, including Caribbean routes.
The company's executive vice president and CEO Mr. Jean-Jacques Bourgeault said first class customers will get comfort, style and service for less than the current First Class fares. Business class customers will get more legroom, comfort and privacy than other airlines at business class prices.
