Staples preferred closed down 25 cents at $8.75 on volume of 4,600 while Bank of Bermuda lost 12.5 cents to close at $18.625 on volume of 1,017.

Issues closing unchanged were; Belco, $19.875, 8,000, Bank of Butterfield, $11.50, 60 and Bermuda Commercial Bank, $5.125, 246.

Share volume was 18,642 with a value of $273,528.13.
