Bacardi, whose name is currently valued at $3.2 billion, ranked 57th in the table, down from 46th last year, when it was valued at $2.9 billion. The study was conducted by the branding consultancy Interbrand, with valuations calculated on the basis of future earnings potential.
Topping the list of 75 names is Coca-Cola, with a valuation of $72.5 billion.
But the study predicts that second-place Microsoft, with a name worth $70.2 billion, will soon overtake Coca-Cola, whose valuation fell by 13 percent during the last year.
