Bermuda again leading the way in light trading.

The Exchange Index closed up 9.84 points at 1112.88 on volume of 9,443 shares worth $65,398.

The bank recorded a gain for the second straight day, rising 50 cents to its high for the year of $20.50 on volume of 312 shares.

And its warrants also gained, closing up 25 cents to close at $3.25 on volume of 3,050 shares.

In bond trading, Belco 7 percent convertible notes shot up $7 to close at $127 on volume of 312 units to reach a new high for the year.

Elsewhere, BF&M, which announced a 10 percent stock divideded earlier this year, slipped 25 cents to close at $6.75 on volume of 7,951. Bermuda Home shares were unchanged at $6.875 on volume of 150.
