Argus gained 25 cents to close at $12 on volume of 1,400.

The gains were offset by the Bank of Bermuda, which lost 25 cents to close at $18.75 on volume of 669 while BF&M closed down 25 cents at $6.50 on volume of 177.

Bank of Butterfield closed unchanged at $12 on volume of 10,450 while Belco 7% 1st mort. nts. 1998 traded unchanged at 101 on volume of 2,000 units with a value of $2,020.
