Changing Ocean: A View from Bermuda which will feature a presentation by John Knauss, Dean of the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.

Dr. Knauss is a former administrator of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration and will speak about Bermuda's role in oceanography and global climate studies.

The Bermuda Biological Station for Research's (BBSR) Centre for Integrated Ocean Observations has organised the symposium.

Admission to the symposium which begins at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday is free. The public can meet the scientists at a luncheon at 1 p.m. Reservations are required for the luncheon, which will cost $10.
