Trading resumed yesterday morning more than three years after a suspension was imposed when the liquidators of Bermuda Fire and Marine began legal action against the company.
On Tuesday shareholders of BF&M accepted a $35 million out-of-court settlement, and on Wednesday a judge dismissed the case.
Shares were last traded for $6.50 in October 1995. Yesterday the bid price for the shares was listed as $4.25, but not one of the 1,000 shareholders decided the price was tempting enough to sell their stock.
