Other shares gaining value yesterday were Bank of Butterfield, up 75 cents to $31 on volume of 234 shares, and Telco, up 50 cents to $34.50 on volume of 879.

BF&M 9% preference shares were the day's biggest loser, falling 25 cents to close at $10 on volume of 5,000. Belco shares fell 12.5 cents to close at $18.875 on volume of 6566.

Bank of Bermuda 9% notes were unchanged at $107.25 on volume of 50 units.*l
