The fund is incorporated in the Cayman Islands and is structured as a closed-ended umbrella fund. The China Mining Sub Fund is currently the only class of share issued.

"The investment objective and policy of the fund is to seek long-term capital appreciation from equity investments in the People's Republic of China ranging from the energy, metal and mining sectors,'' a press release stated.
