shares in all three banks dropped their share prices and over $3 million worth of shares traded hands.

Bank of Butterfield dropped $1.00 to $17.00, while the Commercial Bank fell 50 cents to its 52 week low of $5.00, and Bank of Bermuda shares dropped marginally by 5 cents to close at $29.95.

The only other changes were in Belco Holdings shares, which fell $1.00 to close at $19.00 and KeyTech stock, which rose 50 cents to finish at $31.

The index closed down 1.99 percent to finish at 1,494.44 on a volume of 162,171 shares worth $3,082,080.75.
