firm Appleby, Spurling & Kempe. Mr. Jardine joined the firm in April 1992 as the director of finance. He will retain his responsibilities in the finance department. In addition, he will have overall responsibility for the operations of the firm and its subsidiary companies.

Ms Deborah Jackson, B.A., M.Sc., has been appointed assistant general manager at AS&K with responsibility for administration and human resource development.

She joined the firm in 1991 as the manager of human resource development. Both appointments are effective December 1, 1993.
