Ltd. (BHSL) and the two companies are expected to come under one administration within the next nine months.

BHSL president, John Lewis, said his company is anticipating the management influence of Island Cleaning in strengthening the firm and identifying an expanded and more profitable line of businesses and services.

He said that the major US partner, Adams-Burch Inc. sold its shareholding, meaning BHSL is now a wholly-Bermudian-owned company.

The 30-year-old company is a leading supplier of products to the hospitality and cleaning service industry and has exclusive representation for Adams-Burch Inc., Rubbermaid Inc., Betco Chemicals Ltd. and Windsor Industries.

Island Cleaning has a commercial contract cleaning firm, together with Island Floor Refinishing Ltd. which provides floor care and restoration, and, Executive Maid Services Ltd. (Molly Maids) which provides residential domestic help.

Island Cleaning CEO Richard Thompson said BHSL was acquired because of its reputation, leadership role in the hospitality industry, ability to cross-market services and products, and the access to leading technology and training in the chemical and cleaning supply industry.
