Company's net income triples
announced its net income has almost tripled according to six month figures released by the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
The company, which is listed on the BSX, saw net income rise from $121,935 to $362,245 for the six months ended 31 December 1999.
Sales were also up 14 percent from the same period the year before, going from $2.2 million to $2.6 million.
The President of Long Botham Boats Paul King attributed the success to: "Service, service and more service.'' Earnings per share were up from 24 cents to 72 cents. The total assets of the company, which also owns the cafe bar on Horseshoe Bay, rose by 6 percent from $3.45 million to $3.65 million.
Long Botham Boats stock stands at $3.75, after the share price rose 25 cents in June. Since then the stock price has been static.
