much-needed building materials, food supplies and medical equipment to the countries of Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Kitts, which were ravaged by Hurricane Luis.

It has purchased $250,000 worth of building materials and food supplies which it began delivering this week.

On Tuesday two containers of 90,000 pounds of building materials and food supplies were shipped to Antigua and St. Maarten. They were due to arrive there this coming Monday.

In St. Kitts, 40,000 pounds of food and supplies were due to be off-loaded today.

The FCCA said it was staying in contact with these countries to make sure the most urgent supplies were delivered first and they have set up a donation centre in the Port of Miami.

And FCCA Executive Director Ms Michele Paige and Caribbean Tourism Organisation secretary General Ms Jean Holder were due to visit these countries to determine what additional help they will need.

The member lines of the FCCA include frequent Bermuda visitors Celebrity Cruises, Majesty Cruise Line, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
