Board of Control have agreed a sponsorship package for Caribbean test cricket worth $2 million over four years.
The agreement, which was signed in London, covers test series to be played between 1993 and 1996, during which the West Indies will be at home to Pakistan, England, Australia and New Zealand.
The series will be officially known as The Cable and Wireless Test Series.
Mr. Clyde Walcott, president of the WICBC, said: "We are very fortunate to have the backing of an international organisation and without this assistance it would be unlikely that our test cricket would be able to survive.''
