Holland met at ACE Ltd. yesterday with Bermuda insurance professionals, some of whom are participating locally in the College of Insurance's MBA in Risk Management programme.

The visit was organised by J&H Marsh & McLennan and the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies. Erasmus is the only Dutch university with an insurance studies programme.

In the Erasmus Insurance Center, the insurance economics department of the Rotterdam School of Economics works jointly with the insurance law department of the Law faculty. The centre coordinates teaching, research and documentation relevant to insurance and is supported financially by the insurance companies.

The visiting students, who are in their final year, are here to learn more about Bermuda's leading captive insurance market and will meet with executives of major captive insurers.
