Floating nightclub proves successful

the crew four years ago after already working for several boat companies including Bermuda Island Cruises, the Bermuda Government and the now defunct Bermuda Vacations. As the administrator, Mr. Brown deals with the overall operations of the boat including marketing, promotions and the day-to-day runnings of the Yhoshi Corporation, which manages the boat. "It was Cooky who came up with the idea of a floating nightclub,'' said Bermuda Longtail owner Mr. David Durham. "We were talking about putting together a dinner cruise and he thought of the nightclub idea.'' Mr. Brown attended a tourism seminar in Boston earlier this year where he talked to wholesalers and members of the Bermuda tourism group about the Island and his ideas for a floating nightclub.

And after networking with them, he put his ideas into action. Said Mr. Brown: "We brainstormed together and came up with variations on ideas. This is what makes our team so unique and successful.'' He added: "We've heard a lot of tourists and locals complain about the lack of night life in Bermuda. And we knew our idea was completely different to what's already available here. It was the magic that Bermuda needed. "Our aim is to be the best. And so far, the nightclub is a resounding success,'' he said.
