Forum to change location
May 21 forum, Training -- who is Responsible?, has necessitated a change of venue.
Originally scheduled for Romanoff's restaurant in the Imperial Building on Church Street, the event will now take place in the board room of the New Hall, at the Bermuda College, Stonington Campus.
The forum will focus on who is responsible for adequately training local staff to properly meet the needs of today's work force, and panellists have been chosen to reflect the diversity of those needs. They include Mr. Stuart Doyle, Senator Alex Scott, Miss Jennifer Smith, MP, Mr. W.A. (Toppy) Cowen, Mr.
Malcolm Dixon, Mr. Eugene Blakeney, MP, and Ms Teri Seymour.
The two-and-one-half-hour forum will begin 10 a.m., with luncheon to follow at 12.30 p.m. The registration fee is $20 for association members, $30 for non-members, and cheques should be made payable to the Bermuda Training and Development Association. Formalities may be completed at the door. For further information telephone Mrs. Ernestine DeGraff or Mrs. Helen Pearman-Ziral at 236-9000.
