Global Crossing `changing telecommunications landscape'
Global Crossing Telecommunications, Inc., a subsidiary of Bermuda-based Global Crossing Ltd. yesterday announced enhancements to its Partners Program.
The programme, which offers agents, systems integrators, consultants, and value added resellers the opportunity to provide Global Crossing's integrated communications solutions to their customers, now features an exclusive Partners Extranet that combines the convenience of the Web with it.
Partners benefit from 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week access to this exclusive new extranet which provides online contract forms, order forms, capability presentations, and FAQs.
Other Web-based tools available include product and pricing information, customer service letters, network design schematics, proposal support and partner reports.
Global Crossing's Partners Program already has the critical basics in place in the form of pricing, provisioning, and payments.
"With the implementation of our Web-based tools, our partners can now provide an even more comprehensive level of service to their customers,'' said Jeffrey Gold, President of Alternate Channels for Global Crossing.
"Our partners can fulfil their customers' data-centric communications needs more effectively using this tool we've designed to provide them with a competitive advantage.'' The partner programme boasts a precise compensation arrangement, with comprehensive systems for accurate reporting, an industry-leading service level agreement that provides guaranteed customer satisfaction and unmatched partner support with online training and retention assistance.
