bought the domain registries MyInternet.com, MyDomain.com and MyDNS.com and the MyDomain.com website from MY.COM Inc. in Bellevue, Washington, for an undisclosed sum.

With this acquisition, Global Internet Investments becomes the third largest database of hosted domain names in the world.

Global Internet Investments Inc. has registered over 250,000 domains through its various domain registration sites over the past two years, and recently began operation of its own ICANN (Internet Corporation for the Assignment of Names and Numbers) accredited Registrar, NamesDirect.com, which registers .com, .net and .org domain names.

The MyInternet.com/MyDomain.com website (accessed through either name) now becomes a registration partner of NamesDirect.com and will continue to service members.
