`Hill is a danger'
hill will be looked at before it claims someone's life.
Mary Fox and Mary Lines work at Party Plus. They said the road that runs up behind the store, towards St. Brendan's Hospital, has to be made safer.
Ms Fox said Works and Engineering were aware of the concerns, but plans to do something about the hill had yet to manifest themselves.
She noted that Devonshire South MP Michael Dunkley was also told about the hill.
Ms. Lines said she feared the inaction to do something about the hill could lead to an accident.
Loose debris which had fallen from the hill can be seen lying in the store's parking area.
She said: "One day something is going to fall down and destroy one of the customer's cars or someone's going to get hurt.'' The two believe the hill might one day take someone's life due to wet surfaces or as the result of speeding or reckless driving on it.
They hoped something would be done before it became a case of "I told you so''.
