Declines led advances three to two as Bank of Bermuda dropped 50 cents to close at $27 on turnover of 2,611. Bermuda Home was down $0.375 to $8.25 after 200 shares changed hands and Bermuda Home 8% Pref. was down 75 cents to $11.25 on a volume of 1098.

Bank of Butterfield rose 25 cents to $14.75 on trading of 5,271 shares and Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. was up 75 cents to $8.75 on a volume of 2,000.
