The first module is being held on February 11, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the BII office in Hamilton.
Its theme will be Basic Accounting Principles (Non-Insurance Companies) and will deal with The Profit and Loss Account and The Balance Sheet, covering concepts such as double entry book-keeping, accruals and prepayments, goodwill and depreciation and the impact of transaction on revenue and expenses on the P/L statement.
The course director will be BII director Mr. Ian Linnegan.
