The index closed down 0.29 points to 1,095.68 on volume of 18,529 shares worth $216,864.

KFC, traditionally a strong performer on the Exchange, closed at $29 on volume of 300.

In other trading, Bank of Bermuda was unchanged at $19.25 on volume of 4,850, Bank of Bermuda warrants held at $2.75 on volume of 6,009 and Bank of Butterfield traded unchanged at $13.25 on volume of 7,370.
