The Royal Gazette yesterday asked Pro-Active's corporate administrators King and Associates. Administrator Lynda Lambert said she did not think the firm had that detail. She said the previous law firm may still have had it and she would have to get in touch with them.
However, she failed to come back with the information yesterday afternoon, and then Mrs. King last night refused to name them.
Pro-Active is rumoured to be the favoured bidder for the $70 million Berkeley Institute contract, despite being the second lowest bidder. The company was registered about a year ago and little is known of it.
Claims have been made in The Mid-Ocean News that Government was under pressure to select Pro-Active because its principals were Progressive Labour Party supporters.
It claimed the PLP Cabinet was split over whether or not the lowest bidder, BermudaTech, should be awarded the contract, or Pro-Active.
But Works and Engineering Minister Alex Scott has denied there is any division, and said everyone was agreed.
An announcement is expected to be made next Thursday.
