stock jumped by $1 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday to close at $13 on a volume of 600. BCB's stock has now more than doubled since Mr. Deuss took control on May 10, 1993.
The Bank of Butterfield went up by 25 cents to close at $28 on a volume of 4,379. Belco fell 25 cents to $19.50 with 612 shares changing hands.
Trading unchanged were the Bank of Bermuda, which traded at $22.75 on a volume of 181, and Bermuda Aviation Services, which traded at $3.50 on a volume of 1,000.
The Exchange Index ended the day at 1,159.46 -- up by 2.89.
