Stock Exchange on Friday in trading worth $75,371. BCB's current share price of $141 is $11 above its 1990-high of $13 which was before a loss of confidence in the bank due to the decision by Barclays Bank to seek a buyer for its 32 percent stake and the run-down of the bank's retail division. In other trading on Friday, Argus Insurance fell by 50 cents to $10.50 on a volume of 1,100 and BF&M nine percent preference shares dropped by one-eighth of a dollar to $117 on a volume of 1,100.

Trading at unchanged prices were: Bank of Bermuda, which closed at $225 , with a volume of 358; Bank of Butterfield, $28, 1,500; and Bermuda Bakery, $17.25, 202.

The Exchange Index fell by 2.38 to close at 1,156.12.

Shares worth $1.095 million were traded on the Exchange last week.
