Metro wins hotel supply deal
supply Sonesta Beach Hotel & Spa with all of its non-alcoholic beverages.
Under the agreement, Metro Mineral will have exclusive responsibility for all of the hotel's bar and restaurant beverage dispenser outlets, including vending machines.
A spokesman for Metro, whih distributes Pepsi Cola products throughout Bermuda, said: "This major agreement has primarily come about as a result of Metro's proposal to install a revolutionary `bag in a box' dispensing system in the hotel's facilities.
"BIB, as the new system is termed, replaces the conventional, refillable stainless steel syrup tanks.
"This makes the operation more hygienic while also allowing for greater flexibilty and higher profitability, as juices and sodas can be interdispensed and spoilage and spillage are virtually eliminated.''
