Banquet at the Southampton Princess hotel.

Rev. Lorne Bean will address the audience at the union's 12th annual banquet, which gets underway at 8.00 p.m.

A former student at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, he will focus on what the labour movement can do for the youth of Bermuda.

Rev. Bean is also a graduate of Central State University and Warwick Academy, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bean of Somerset.

He serves as the itinerant deacon of Allen Temple AME Church.
