Move over Tuscany^.^.^. Bermuda is tops with the rich

Tucker's Town beat out five other renowned international destinations as a choice of home for America's rich in a recent poll of nine US realtors.

The realtors to the rich were surveyed by luxury lifestyle magazine, Massachusetts-based The Bobb Report, which compiled two top ten lists of places to live in and outside the US.

America's rich, when choosing a place to live, list privacy and an atmosphere, as their top criteria, said the article.

Daniel Phillips, publisher of the monthly Bobb Report, added: "The trend in real estate today is toward communities that offer a secluded atmosphere as well as prestige. A great zip code no longer ensures a town makes our list.'' Tucker's Town beat out Tuscany, Italy; Cascais, Portugal; Sixth and Seventh Arrondissements, Paris, France; Forest Hill, Toronto, Canada; and Belgravia, London, England.

The list was topped by La Moraleja, Madrid, Spain; Lake Geneva, Switzerland; St.-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, French Riviera; and Sydney, Australia.

The top ten US places for the affluent to reside, in order of finish, are: Rancho Santa Fe, California; Greenwich, Connecticut; Palm Beach, Florida; Aspen, Colorado; Upper West Side Manhattan, New York City; Pacific Heights, San Francisco; The Grosse Pointes, Michigan; Park City, Utah; Highland Park and University Park, Dallas, Texas; and Waimea, Hawaii.
