NATO commanders here for talks
alliance's changing strategy and current operations.
The three-day meeting is the second of a biannual gathering of Principal the Subordinate Commanders under the Commander-in-Chief Western Atlantic, known in NATO circles as CINCWESTLANT.
The conference will be hosted by Malabar Commander Robin Bawtree who, because of his Bermuda command, is one of the 15 principal subordinate commanders.
Delegates include representatives from the Canadian Atlantic Command, the Maritime Air Group, the commander of the Atlantic Command, the Western Atlantic Submarine Command.
During the three-day meeting, the delegates will also visit the Royal Navy Dockyard, the Maritime Museum and the Beat Retreat in St. George's tomorrow evening. Before leaving on Thursday, the officers will tour the NATO facilities at the US Naval Air Station.
