New fund added to BSX listings
Bermuda Stock Exchange, it was revealed yesterday.
Bahamas-based HTS Fund, which has total assets of $145 million, will now be traded as a secondary listing on the BSX with two million class A and nearly three million class B redeemable shares.
The fund was established in 1996 as an open-ended international business company registered in the Bahamas and has a secondary listing on the Irish Stock Exchange.
The company expects to increase the value of the firm by trading in a range of speculative investments.
The company has said it may invest in a variety of ventures and it hopes to attract long-term investors to buy its stock for at least 12 months. The fund listing is sponsored by Reid Services Ltd.
"The BSX welcomes HTS Fund Ltd to listing,'' said James McKirdy, the listing manager of the BSX. "This listing increases the number of funds having a secondary listing on the stock exchange.''
