diving enthusiasts out at once to explore the area's underwater scenery.

Mr. Stuart Joblin, who manages the retail section of the new dive shop, said the business, opened May 1, now has all its planned services available. Joblin said "flexibility'' will be key to booking dives.

Mr. Joblin, a diving instructor with four years experience, said the shop plans to "do our best to accommodate consumers''.

"We're offering all levels of instruction from beginner to assistant instructor,'' he added.

Mr. Joblin is a part-owner with Mr. Douglas Patterson of the sportswear store Makin' Waves located on Front Street.

Joblin says the shop offers one, two or three tank dive trips every day, weather permitting. For the beginner, they offer a half-day discovery Scuba dive course which includes practical instruction and a shallow reef dive.

Adventure Water Sports is a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instruction) dive centre and a branch store of Nautilus Diving Limited, owned by Mr. Charles Green.

The new shop also offers parasailing, boat rentals, snorkelling as well as service and sales of Scuba equipment.
