the "do-it-yourselfer'', according to the owner of the new business.

Mr. Danny Rego, 47, recently opened the business at No. 2 Camp Hill Road, Southampton.

"I have been in the painting trade for over 20 years, here and in New Zealand. I'll be putting that knowledge to work by giving trade advice to the do-it-yourselfer,'' he said.

"My philosophy is `don't sell to make a sale, sell to make a customer satisfied' and you will get repeat business,'' he noted.

The business, which is located off Middle Road opposite the Heron Bay MarketPlace, occupies about 2,000 square feet.

Among the lines Mr. Rego will carry are Glidden, Super Quickseal, U-Seal, Stone Mason, Black Knight, and Storm King, as well as Thoro Products for roof and waterproofing work.

Prior to opening Proseal about three weeks ago Mr. Rego was self-employed.

Before that, he worked with his father at Peter Rego Painting and Maintenance.

He anticipates an introductory sale will get underway soon.
