Race yachts head for Island

trans-Atlantic rally are expected to arrive in Bermuda tomorrow.The boats all set sail for Bermuda last Thursday, most from Jolly Harbour, Antigua, and some from St. Augustine, Florida. Both destinations are around 900 nautical miles away from the Island.

The boats all set sail for Bermuda last Thursday, most from Jolly Harbour, Antigua, and some from St. Augustine, Florida. Both destinations are around 900 nautical miles away from the Island.
The cruising yachts, from Britain, the US, Spain, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Ireland and Canada, many of which competed in Antigua Sailing Week, will depart from Bermuda on Tuesday, May 23, with their next stop the Azores.
For most of the fleet, the final destination will be Plymouth, England.
