The Pacific Princess , which is part of the Princess fleet, has been committed to Bermuda for three years and will take holidaymakers that were to travel on the Island Princess .

That vessel -- which was filmed as part of the TV series the Love Boat -- has been sold as of April this year.

The Pacific Princess was formerly the Sea Venture , which used to visit Bermuda.

Princess Cruises have now retired six smaller vessels and replaced them with Grand Class ships.

Passengers already booked on the Island Princess will be moved to its sister ship and offered compensation deals.
