After finishing at $12.125 on Tuesday, the Bank of Butterfield's shares finished at $12.50 on a volume of 2094.

The Bank of Bermuda also recorded modest gains, closing at $19.50 up from $19.125 on a volume of 510.

In other stock market news the Bank of Bermuda warrants declined from $2.875 to $2.75 on a volume of 6400 shares.

Meanwhile, Long Botham boats company limited declined by $1.25 to $6 on a volume of 225.

Bermuda Home and Bermuda Home eight percent preference shares remained unchanged at $6.75 and $11.625 respectively.

Argus Insurance remained at $10.50 and the Bank of Bermuda's nine percent bonds and debentures were also unchanged at $104.25.
