There was absolutely no movement in the Bermuda Stock Exchange index yesterday as trading to a total value of $105,323 left all but one issue's price

The index closed as it opened at 1,129.44, as Belco 7% 1st Mortgage Notes `98 $6,000 face traded at par, half a penny less than the day before.
Other trades included Bank of Bermuda, unchanged at $19.50 on a volume of 2,270; Bank of Butterfield unchanged at $14.50 on a volume of 2,657; Bermuda Bakery volume of 300, unchanged at $17.50; and, 950 Bermuda Home 8% Pref., unchanged at $11.87.5.
There was a total share volume of 6,177, valued at $44,323. Bond value of $6,000 was recorded for the 6,000 bonds that changed hands.
