Subject to approval, TWA will fly into Bermuda from St. Louis, Missouri on Monday and Fridays, completing the return journey to the US later the same day.
In a document obtained by The Royal Gazette , TWA stated that the service will run initially for two years, between May 1 and October 31, starting next year.
The application to the US Department of Transportation states the company will provide the only non-stop service from the mid-west.
And TWA is confident that the UK will allow the new route, which will leave St. Louis at 10.30 a.m. and arrive in Bermuda at 4.15 p.m. The return journey leaves Bermuda at 5.30 p.m., touching down in Missouri at 7.30 p.m.
