The biggest gainer also had the lowest trading volume; Telco closed up $2.25 on volume of 150.
Bermuda Home gained $1 to close at $10 on volume 11,390.
Bank of Bermuda gained 50 cents to close at $18.75 on volume of 6,902 while Bermuda Commercial Bank gained 25 cents to close at $5.25 on volume of 1,450.
Bermuda Press Holdings closed up 50 cents at $8.50 on volume of 324 while Staples preferred gained 37.5 cents to close at $9.375 on volume of 4,500.
Belco gained 25 cents to close at $19.875 on volume of 1,668 while Argus closed up 25 cents at $11.75 on volume of 5,328.
Bank of Butterfield dropped 25 cents to close at $11.50 on volume of 2,441 while Bermuda Commercial Bank warrants closed down 25 cents at 75 cents on volume of 1,500.
BF&M closed down 25 cents at $6.50 on volume of 5,924.
Hemisphere preferred closed unchanged at $6.75 on volume of 1,650.
Share volume was 43,627 with a share value of $472,932.50.
The index closed up 12.59 points or 1.22 percent at 1,042.60.
