Women's workshop series continues
workshop series continues tomorrow when the focus will be on technology.
The five-part series resulted from a survey within the organisation to determine members interests and needs, Entrepreneur Support Group, a division of Women in International Business Bermuda, chairperson Lucie Gibbons said.
"About 78 percent of the women who answered a questionnaire replied that they were highly interested in attending workshops on the subject of business management skills,'' she said.
The series was organised by Ms Gibbons, also co-owner/manager of Gibbons decorators, and Women in International Trade Bermuda president Carolyn Hall, also managing director of Gulfstream Financial Ltd. Survey respondents cited seminars on business management skills as well as technology and communication skills as areas of interest, Ms Gibbons added.
Tomorrow, William R. Storie & Co. chairman Bill Storie will speak on Technology: The Internet and Beyond''.
The presentation will run from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce offices and is open to the public. Fee is $25.
The series continues on April 10 with a presentation by Franklin Travel and Daly Associates president Patti Daly Franklin.
